Welcome to RIBBLE HEIGHTS LODGE, a cosy peaceful RETREAT

Happy family holding hands and walking outdoors in a green park.

Family Friendly and Welcoming

The lodge offers a clean, warm and comfortable base for making special memories together. There’s space to relax after busy days out. Families love the variety of things to do nearby,  from countryside walks and wildlife spotting to local attractions, villages, and seasonal activities, so there’s always something to explore without long drives. It’s an easy, relaxed place to spend time together, unwind, and enjoy the best of the surrounding area.

Decking & Outdoor Space

One of the things that truly sets Ribble Heights Lodge apart is the spacious, enclosed decking. Positioned to take advantage of the elevated setting, it’s a natural extension of the living space, perfect for morning coffee, quiet afternoons with a book, or watching the light change as the sun sets. You may even see one of the wild deers in the area pass by!

The enclosed design offers peace of mind for guests with small children, or bringing a small dog, allowing them to relax and enjoy the outdoors without worry.

1 Small Dog Welcome

We’re pleased to announce we are now welcoming one small, well-behaved dog to the lodge by prior arrangement,  perfect for guests who like to travel with a well-mannered canine companion.

We ask that dogs are house trained, not left unattended and they are not permitted on furniture or beds.

WILDLIFE & QUIET MOMENTS

One of the quiet joys of staying here is the sense of sharing the landscape with wildlife. Deer are sometimes seen moving through the garden and surrounding trees, particularly early in the morning or at dusk. Unexpected moments that capture the calm of this place

A Slower Way to Stay

Life at Ribble Heights Lodge follows a gentler rhythm. Mornings begin with birdsong rather than traffic, and evenings are often spent under open skies, with little more than the sounds of nature for company.

There’s no pressure to do everything here. Walk if you want to, rest if you don’t. The lodge suits those who appreciate simple pleasures, time outdoors, quiet surroundings, and the freedom to slow down.
